Kulari ke Hutan 1

To celebrate Environment Day on 5 June 2016, Hutan Itu Indonesia held Kulari ke Hutan 1. Runners make a real contribution to Indonesia’s forests by adopting trees in conservation areas developed by the community in Jambi, West Sumatra (managed by KKI-Warsi) and West Nusa Tenggara (managed by WWF). The locations include Nagari Sirukam, Serampas-Rantau Kermas and Mount Rinjani and the adoptions are funded via sponsorship and matching funds.

Some 1,039 trees were adopted by 617 participants and by donors who gave money via Kitabisa.com from May 27 to 4th June 2016.
